Miss Dorminy Speaking: Highlights of My Life
Sunday, January 8th at 2 PM

Jacqueline Dorminy was one of Winston-Salem's most prominent citizens as well as the owner and director of the Dorminy Dance Studios which she started in 1932 and through which many generations of local children learned various forms of dance.

At one time Ms. Dorminy operated 12 dance studios in Forsyth County in addition to traveling all over the country with nationally recognized dance organizations. Mary Ruth Dobbins will be reading passages from her book as well as commenting on her collaboration with Ms. Dorminy for her book.

Goodness, I bet you dollars to doughnuts she knew my dad. Check out this bit of fabulousness.
