An interactive morning jazz concert for the whole family, which will present an entertaining introduction to the music of jazz greats Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn with vocalist Martha Bassett and David Ford, host and producer of WFDD’s "Triad Arts Up Close"

FREE Admission, 88 minutes
A documentary profiling a group of young aspiring jazz musicians as they travel to New York City to compete with other high school jazz bands in the Essentially Ellington Festival

Mood Indigo: Tribute to Duke Ellington
3 PM and 8 PM
$18 Adults/$16 Seniors/$5 Students
Classics by Ellington and Strayhorn such as "Lush Life," "It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)," "Take the 'A' Train," and more presented by acclaimed Triad jazz musicians

Tickets may be purchased in advance from the Old Salem Box Office by calling 1-800-441-5305 Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Subject to availability, tickets can be purchased at the door of each venue one hour prior to each concert.
