Hello Hello

Thursday, September 16, 2010

I just read today's paper

It's been a good but crazy-busy day, and so I have only now finished reading my beloved Journal obits.

George Sanford Williams' obituary tickled me, especially this line:

...he enjoyed gardening going to his grandchildren's ball games, daily two mile walks with granddaughter Peggy and petting Peanut.

Petting Peanut just sounds marvelous. So does George Sanford Williams.

(Peanut is previously listed as a "survived by" "special companion", so I've no idea if Peanut is canine or feline. Or a ferret for all I know.)
