Local Ladder Lends Needed

Habitat Forsyth is hosting 250 high school-aged youth on a Christian mission trip in partnership with Group WorkCamps and the City of Winston-Salem, to work on homes of the elderly and disabled here in Winston-Salem.

We need loaner-ladders to accomplish their work!

Please help us by loaning a ladder (or two.)

We will tag and inventory your ladder to ensure you get it back (unless you would like to donate it to Habitat.) The youth will be painting, weatherizing and roofing in the middle of the July heat, just for the love of being of service.

They need the ladders listed below to accomplish this work camp. I have personally worked with this group (based out of Loveland, CO) and their organization and professionalism is extraordinary.

They need:
Size X Qty
6' X 34
8' X 11
10' X 6
12' X 7
16' X 10
20' X 4
24' X 3
32' X 1

Ladder drop off: July 6 & 7 - Habitat for Humanity
Ladder Pick-up: July 19 - 23 - Habitat for Humanity

50 elderly and disabled neighbors in Winston-Salem will receive some much needed help to address issues that will affect the quality of their lives.

Please forward this to any friend or neighbor you know might have a ladder to lend.

Call me, Anita Mendoza, to let me know what size ladder you are willing to lend or donate. (336) 765-8854 Ext. 115
