Spike Leukemia “For Katie’s Sake”

The Reagan varsity volleyball team is playing a match in memory of Katie Fitzgerald to help raise money and awareness about Leukemia. Katie, a student at Reagan High School, lost her life to Leukemia in August 2008. Having a child with Leukemia affects not only the patient but the whole family. The Fitzgerald family has set up the “For Katie’s Sake” foundation to support families in similar situations as their own for many years. All the money raised will go to the “For Katie’s Sake Foundation” to help other families with the struggles of having a child battling Leukemia. We hope you will make time in your schedule to join us for the 1st annual “Spike Leukemia” volleyball match.

Place: Reagan High School
Date of Event: Friday, September 25th
Time: 6:00pm
Opponent: RJ Reynolds

Cost: Purchase a Spike Leukemia T-shirt for $10.00 and wear your T-shirt to the volleyball match. (All money raised through T-shirt sales will go to the “For Katie’s Sake Foundation”)

Need a T-shirt? T-shirts will be sold at school during lunch hours and at all home volleyball matches. Please e-mail dgfolger@wsfcs.k12.nc.us if you need a T-shirt and these times do not meet your schedule.
