Hello, Reader

Two more nights. Just tonight and tomorrow night. After that I won't have to:
  1. go in and tell the oldest it's time to turn the light out, so finish that chapter and put the book away, please
  2. come back fifteen minutes later to remind him it's really time to put the book away, I'm serious
  3. come back fifteen minutes after that and take the book out of his hands, lay it on his desk across the room, and turn out the light myself
  4. finally come back fifteen minutes later still and turn out the light again, this time taking the book out of the room with me.
Two more bedtimes, and then school will be over, and I can let him read himself silly half the night if he is so inclined.
The Forsyth County Public Library Summer Reading Club is open to kids, teens, and adults. Kickoff events will be held June 14th at the following libraries and times:

Walkertown Branch 10:00 - 11:30 AM
Central Library 12:30 - 2:00 PM
Lewisville Branch 3:00 - 4:30 PM

Stop by the info booth to pick up a Reading Log and grab a SRC events calendar. (Alternately, stop by any library branch after the 14th to pick these up.) When you have completed the required reading hours for your age, turn the log sheet in at your local library and claim your prize.
