The day after Christmas is probably the laziest day of the year at our house. We wear our pajamas as long as we can, everyone sort of quietly plays with the bounty of the day before, and meals are generally foregone in favor of grazing and noshing.
The oldest and I just spent a few hours putting the stickers on the pieces and then playing Stratego, and now he's stretched out on his belly on the floor of his room reading. The youngest is happily rolling marbles down the track the oldest built this morning, which curves from the far end of the dining room table almost into the den.
I'm online only long enough to check email and remind myself again what the deal is with trash and recycling this week.
