For those thinking about exercising more, or even just plain exercising, as a New Year's resolution, it is not too late to sign up for the Running of the Lights at Tanglewood. The races start at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, which means you can kick that resolution into practice immediately.
For those with the plain exercise resolution*, the 1 mile Fun Run may be the way to go. Details and registration info here.
Those resolving to exercise more may wish to tackle the 5K race, which as well as increased cardio activity will garner them each a Long Sleeve Dry-Fit T-shirt. Details and registration for this race here.
Please note, too, that this event benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank, which is in dire need. Participants must bring a donation of (at least) 3 canned goods or non-perishable items.
*Ah, yes, this would be where I come in. I started off 2007 fine, but, as always, I faded. I've been making this same resolution since 1999 now. Go, me.
